Nature sheds her coat, reveals herself. The brown branches arch, we see the fallen trees of the summer storms, remnants of the fall yellows and reds peak out among the browns. Brush stands tall, their final stand before the crushing snow. And we humans button up, reap the final harvest, close the barn doors, ready our wood piles waiting for cold and snow.
